Zach Lacefield is an experienced producer, composer, and audio engineer with expertise in a wide range of musical styles and genres. Because of his genuine passion for the fundamentals of the craft and his appreciation for everything from pop, to hip-hop, to underground indie-rock, to grandiose film scores, he has explored what it takes to construct great songs from the ground up, no matter what the scope or requirements of the project. Whereas many producers might be inhibited by the limitations of their own personal preferences, Zach has sought to become well rounded and holistic in his approach. He has engineered podcasts for churches that reach thousands of people every week, scored video games, spearheaded sound design projects, scored a film, and written music for movie trailers.

Having grown up in a small town in the South, Zach's early life was dedicated almost exclusively to learning and mastering the art of music. With fewer distractions and razor sharp focus, he firmly grasped music theory and began to experiment and create his own songs at a young age. His experiences as a touring guitarist for a successful alternative rock band gave him insight into the nuances of the music world from the perspective of a musician and songwriter. Coupled with his work on the projects of various artists as a producer, he has walked in the shoes of nearly every position one might find in a professional recording and music production environment. And his training at Full Sail University has honed his already considerable skills to an exceptional, industry-standard level.
